The Wrightstown Tigers are favorites to win the Northeastern Conference.
That showed Friday night, as they ran all over the Denmark Vikings in a WIAA week two match-up at Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers jumped out to a quick 13-0 lead behind two short rushing touchdowns by Jeremy Van Zeeland and Andrew Pelishek.
Denmark was able to score in the second quarter behind a 72-yard rushing score courtesy of junior halfback Brandon Wavrunek.
That was the only time the Vikings saw the end zone.
Pelishek finished with 77 yards on the ground and three touchdowns to lead the way for the Tigers, who are now 2-0 on the season.
Braydon Smith had a game-high 128 yards on the ground for the Tigers, who compiled a whopping 486 rushing yards on 54 carries.
Wrightstown had 11 different ball carriers in the blowout.
Four different running backs scored for Wrightstown in their 41-7 route of the Vikings.
Denmark hosts Clintonville next week for their home opener. The Tigers will host Pulaski in a non-conference game.
