The Village of Denmark, with the assistance of the Brown County Planning Commission, is beginning the process of updating the Village’s comprehensive plan and wants to hear from you. The comprehensive plan will guide how the Village develops over the next twenty years, and that’s why it is important for your voice to be heard—we want you to tell us how you want the Village to look twenty years from now.
To this end, a village-wide visioning workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17, in the high school’s atrium beginning at 6:30 p.m. Residents’ thoughts, concerns, and desires for the future of Denmark will be encouraged to be aired and taken into consideration by the Brown County Planning Commission.
Residents with students in the Denmark School District are encouraged to bring their child as well to take part in this important civic undertaking.
The current Comprehensive Plan is more than ten years old and future decisions regarding the provision of services, transportation network, as well as use and reuse of the land in the Village have to be consistent with an updated comprehensive plan to comply with the State’s Comprehensive Planning Law.
Those planning to attend the workshop should RSVP to the Brown County Planning Commission, P.O. Box 23600, Green Bay, WI 54305-3600, or email Devin Yoder at email@example.com.
Can’t make the workshop but still want your voice heard? There’s an online survey you can take at http://arcg.is/11vzXf to make sure you are still included in the planning process.
