Below are the established policies for submissions of “Letters to the Editor” for use in The Denmark News. The owners of The Denmark News reserve the right to accept or deny any submission based on the following guidelines:

    1. Letters must be personally signed. Letters must include your first and last name, complete address, and phone number. Only your name and community will be published. Contributors whose identities cannot be verified to our reasonable satisfaction may be required to submit further identification or their contributions will be withheld from publication.

    1. Letters may not be malicious. This will be determined by the editor and management of The Denmark News and is non-negotiable. Letters will be edited if necessary for clarity or brevity.

    1. Letters must be 300 words or less in length (unless prior approval is granted).

    1. We reserve the right to reject any letter for any reason.

    1. One letter per person per week may be published at the editor’s discretion. Top relevance will be determined by the editor and management of The Denmark News.

    1. No “thank you” or advertising letters will be published in the form of letters to the editor.

    1. Opinions and assumptions must be presented as such. Any data expressed as fact must be accompanied by a source.

    1. We reserve the right to change our policies at any time without prior notice.

    1. Letters and editorials published in the “Letters to the Editor” section of The Denmark News are published for the enlightenment and entertainment readers. Editorial comments do not necessarily reflect the opinion of Denmark News LLC owner and publisher of The Denmark News, or its individual employees.
