Last Spartan TD spoils Denmark's season-opener, new coach's debut
DENMARK –Colton Worachek plunged across the goal line on fourth down with 9.4 seconds left in the game and Luxemburg-Casco spoiled Tom Neuman’s head coaching debut with a 14-7 victory at Denmark High School on Friday night in both teams’ season openers.The Viking defense had limited the Spartans to barely 100 yards when Luxemburg-Casco took over at its own 7 with eight minutes remaining in a 7-7 game.
