Laura M. Valenta, age 57 of Maribel, passed away peacefully at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center on Friday, July 31, 2026, following a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 26, 1969, in Manitowoc, to Lester and Dolores (Loberger) Valenta.  Laura graduated from Denmark High School with the class of 1987.

John L. Reinke, 92, Kewaunee, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026, in the same home he was born in. On April 11, 1934, John was born to the late John A. and Frances (Spitzer) Reinke. John graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1952.  He served in the Army Reserves from 1957-1963. 

Bonnie Jean Larsen, 70, of New Denmark, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on the family farm early in the morning of July 23, 2026. To know Bonnie was to know and experience true goodness and pure love. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend and will be deeply missed.

Anton “Tony” J. Urban, 82, son of the late Joseph and Arletta (Bertrand) Urban passed away on June 11, 2026, at North Ridge in Manitowoc, WI.

Tony was born on the family farm in Kewaunee, WI, on October 4, 1943. He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1961. He enjoyed the yearly reunions with former classmates.

Kenneth L. Salzsieder, age 63, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. He was born on July 16, 1962, to the late Le Roy and Verna (Schultz) Salzsieder. Ken graduated from Denmark High School in 1981 and worked at Natural Beauty for many years.

Mary Elizabeth Laper, age 79 of Markesan, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her home with her loving family at her side.

Polly was born on October 29, 1946, daughter of Reginald “Rex” and Mary (Geimer) Swoboda of Denmark WI. She was united in marriage to Don Laper on December 30, 1995, in Fairwater, WI.

Daniel Lee Kuehn Sr. age 80, of Denmark, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026. Daniel was born on May 9th, 1946, in the town of Algoma, Wisconsin, to the late Alvin Kuehn and the late Elva Laura Longley. Daniel married Arlene Mildred Krerowicz on October 23, 1965. Shortly thereafter, Daniel enlisted in the United States Navy.

Elizabeth “Betty” Kozina, age 69, Town of Franklin, passed away June 4, 2026 at her home. The daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Hruska) Kozina was born May 14, 1957. Betty worked for Packerland Packing for several years, and made many friends during her time there. She enjoyed going out to eat, doing crossword puzzles and dancing polka in her earlier years. 

Jean Claire Duckart, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. She was born in 1930, in Angelica to the late Adolph and Viola (Baster) Martin. In 1959, she married Benedict Duckart in Green Bay. He preceded her in death in 2014. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Denmark and the Denmark VFW.

On Sunday May 10, 2026, our beloved Keith E. Rhodes, age 66, left our world to join his parents as our Guardian Angels.

William R. "Bill" Karman, age 81, lifetime resident of Kewaunee County, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, April 21, 2026 at the Grancare Nursing Center in Green Bay following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Lynda Ann (Organiscak) Leanna, 76, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, March 23, 2026, surrounded by those she held dear and engulfed by a feeling of overflowing love from friends and family. 

Kathleen “Susie” Umentum, 79, of Green Bay, was called to Heaven on March 18, 2026. 

She was born on January 30, 1947, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to the late Gilbert Sr. and Mary (Blake) Grieger.
