Last week, during Brown County Library's weekly Story Time in the Memorial Park shelter house, attendees were provided with a special treat thanks to a new healthy initiative.

On Monday, July 22, the Denmark School District held their yearly School Board Annual Meeting in the Denmark High School Media Center. Called every summer, the Annual Meeting is an opportunity for residents of the district to express their views and take part in the decision-making process.

Shortly after adjourning their Annual Meeting, the Denmark School Board convened their regular monthly meeting in the DHS Media Center. Following the call to order, the Pledge of Allegiance and the roll call, the board unanimously approved the evening's consent agenda before proceeding to the night's reports.

That afternoon, at 4:00 p.m., Denmark volunteers helped hand out 100 free care packages filled to the brim with Wisconsin dairy products as part of the statewide Neighborhood Dairy Distribution Program.
