Local teen completes Eagle Scout project

On Sunday, Neshota Park received a sturdy, new hand-crafted firewood shelter for their fire ring courtesy of a local young woman working towards an impressive achievement. The shelter was crafted by Denmark High School Senior Sophie Gerondale and serves as her Eagle Scout Service Project which is set to earn her the highest designation in Scouts BSA.

Last week, Jeff Altenhof was the lucky winner at All Saints Bingo taking home the $6,246.00 Progressive Jackpot! Jeff got the blackout on the 57th number called, which was the last number called for the prize at the session. The next All Saints Bingo session is this Monday, January 19 with sessions to follow every Monday night until May 4! All Saints Bingo is hosted at Gatherings 43 in Denmark with doors opening at 5 p.m. and Bingo kicking off at 6:30 p.m.
