DENMARK – The Denmark Vikings determined that you had not in fact had your daily dose of drama, following up their wild comeback win over Pewaukee in the Division 2 semifinals with a walk-off 6-5 win over Jefferson hours later to claim their second straight state championship.

DENMARK – Despite actually finishing behind Denmark in the North Eastern Conference standings, Freedom continues to be one of the final barriers for the Viking girls’ soccer team.

Vikings head back to state with sectional championship

DENMARK – The defending Division 2 state champion Denmark Vikings continued their defense on Tuesday afternoon in Seymour, dispatching Xavier, 10-5, in the sectional semifinal and capturing their second straight sectional crown with a 6-0 win over Notre Dame in the final.

Denmark, 26-3, will begin state tournament play next week.
