DENMARK – When Ellah DeGrand first decided to take up equestrian at 13, she was understandably reticent. After all, she had never even ridden a horse before.

Last year, Kaminski became the first girl golfer in program history to qualify for state.

Boys soccer hosts playoff game for first time

DENMARK – For the first time ever, Denmark High School will host a boys soccer playoff game. The Vikings, who have shown vast improvement over the past two seasons, earned a 15 seed in the Division 3 tournament and hosted 18-seed Berlin on Oct. 18 after newspaper deadlines.
