Earlier this month, the Denmark-Luxemburg High School Equestrian Team competed for the Region 6 Championship in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Horsemanship Association. On October 4 and 5, the team competed with roughly 15 other teams from across the region at the Sunnyview Exposition Center in Oshkosh. The team competed in Division B, with divisions being determined by the number of riders on a team.

DENMARK – By the time Friday night’s game between Seymour and Denmark came to a close with 6:19 left in the fourth quarter, the Thunder had proven they were the most complete team Denmark has faced this season.

STURGEON BAY – The Denmark girls’ cross country team placed all five of their scorers in the top 28 at Thursday’s Pioneer Invite at Cherry Hills Golf Course, scoring 106 and finishing fourth in the seven-team field.
