MADISON — Denmark’s Steven Kielpikowski won by major decision of 11-0 in his quarterfinal match on Thursday night in the 165-pound class at the WIAA Division 2 State Individual Wrestling Tournament.

DENMARK — The WIAA Tournament is all about win and advance. The Denmark girls’ basketball team took care of both early in its regional quarterfinal game against Wautoma on Tuesday night.

CLINTONVILLE — With about three minutes left until halftime against Clintonville on Thursday night, Denmark guard Allie VanVonderen shot an airball. That one shot brought the Truckers’ student section to hurl a chorus of “airball, airball” in VanVonderen’s direction.

DENMARK — There wasn’t much unknown about how good the Coleman wrestling team is going into the WIAA team sectionals. The Cougars had been winning all season, including against a 66-team field at Oshkosh On The Water Classic back in December, and proved to be one of the toughest teams in the state in any division.
