On Saturday, All Saints School came to life with learning for another day as over 100 people gathered to learn something new from someone local. That afternoon, Denmark Connects hosted its first-ever Denmark Teaching Denmark event for adults in the community, featuring eleven unique class offerings with something for everyone to enjoy.

Before their classes, attendees enjoyed a complimentary lunch in the school’s gymnasium which featured tacos of all kinds from Los Tejados. They then split off to various locations around the school for their selected classes. Clay Art was held in the school’s basement while Ballroom Dancing took place in the gymnasium. The six classrooms hosted nine different courses including Crochet, Macrame, Handmade Bar Soap, Native Herbal Tea, Glass Fusion, Fishing Lures, Blade Sharpening, Crafts and the History of the Village of Denmark. For those with youngsters, childcare was provided in the school’s library.

Denmark Connects was able to assemble an impressive crowd for the event, with 111 attendees ensuring all the classes had a full audience of learners. Organizers promise this event is just the beginning of more to come.
