Historical Museum Happenings

Last Sunday, Kristen Wartella and Lauren Vandenberg visited the Denmark Historical Museum in the basement of Village Hall to make a presentation honoring their late mother–Mary Ellen Kubsch. That afternoon, the two met with Denmark Historical Society member Mike Albers to present him with a commemorative plaque honoring their mother’s commitment as well as a $1,000 donation in her name. Kubsch was one of the original founders of the Denmark Historical Society in 1994 and was instrumental in its establishment and growth. The Denmark Historical Museum will host a special Open House on August 11 from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
