The holiday season is sounding a little brighter thanks to Mishicot High School’s auditioned choir, Soundwave. This talented, high-energy performance group is using their voices to spread Christmas cheer throughout the surrounding areas.
Soundwave, known for its strong vocals, has taken its holiday spirit beyond the school walls. Throughout December, the group is visiting local nursing homes and assisted-living facilities, sharing classic Christmas songs and uplifting performances with residents. For many, these concerts are a heartwarming highlight of the season bringing smiles, nostalgia, and a sense of togetherness.
The students of Soundwave have dedicated hours to rehearsing festive pieces, perfecting harmonies, and preparing a show that blends professionalism with genuine holiday joy. Their goal goes beyond performance—they’re giving back to the community that supports them.
As Mishicot gears up for the holidays, Soundwave is making sure the spirit of the season is felt by all. Mishicot Choral Director Joseph Phillps expresses, “We will go over and over our mistakes until we feel we are putting our best foot forward. Our audience deserves the best.” Through music, connection, and a whole lot of heart, they’re hitting all the right notes. Come support the extremely talented Mishicot High School Choral and Band students on December 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mishicot High School Performance Arts Center.
