COOPERSTOWN--More than one million people visited Cooperstown last Wednesday to watch local bladesmith Jesse Delveaux craft a six-foot high 16th Century Scottish Lochaber Axe in his garage-turned-forge on Zander Rd.
Jesse Delveaux, of Cooperstown narrowly came in second-place in History Channel’s ‘Forged In Fire’ bladesmithing competition . He had four days to craft this rendition of a Scottish Lochaber axe.
