Marie Evelyn Schweiner, age 92, of Denmark, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Rosemary A. Wegner, 96, Kewaunee, formerly of Denmark. Rosemary was born July 21,1929, in Alaska, WI, the oldest of 5 children born to Peter and Frances Lauscher. She earned a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in social work at UW-Milwaukee. Rosemary was the first woman elected as the Kewaunee County board supervisor. She worked as a dietary supervisor at Kewaunee Hospital and Algoma Hospital/LTC and worked as a social worker in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Myron Shimanek, 91, formerly of Denmark, WI, passed away peacefully at Oak Park Place, Green Bay, WI, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Myron was born to Peter and Antonia (Pivonka) Shimanek on September 30, 1933, in Kewaunee, WI. He grew up in the Ellisville area on a family farm and gravel pit.

William “Bill” Michiels, 89 of Denmark, died peacefully Monday, June 16, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born in Sugarbush, WI on May 6, 1936, to the late Frank and Clara (Jauquet) Michiels. Bill graduated from Luxemburg High School with the Class of 1954 and on July 12, 1958, he married Arlene Mercier, at St Joseph Church, Champion.  She preceded him in death on December 5, 2020.

Karren A. Larsen, age 81 of Denmark, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on May 23, 1943, to the late James and Grace (Benecke) Larsen. She graduated from Denmark High School, class of 1961 and went on to attend NWTI, where she received her degree in bookkeeping and accounting.

Jerome Robert Wierschke, age 80, of Denmark, passed away peacefully at Scandinavian Assistant Living on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was born on September 11, 1944, in Green Bay, WI, to the late Oscar and Eleanor (Brown) Wierschke. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Susan Geise, whom he married April 19, 1965.  Their marriage was blessed with four children: Dennis, Dale, Doug, and Kelly. 

Dale W. Larsen, age 75, formerly of Denmark, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at his residence. He was born on May 24, 1949, in Green Bay, WI, son of the late Donald and Adeline (Klemish) Larsen. 

Frederick Hubert Heezen, age 81 of Denmark, WI, gained his wings and joined his beloved wife, Dolores, on May 12, 2025.

Fred was born on November 10, 1943, in Green Bay, WI. He attended Denmark High School until he joined the Army Reserves. On June 6, 1964, he married Dolores Kozlovsky at Pine Grove Church.

Raymond R. Selner was born on August 13, 1926, in the Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County to his parents, Steve and Rose (Stodola) Selner. He passed away on September 24, 2024, with his family by his side.

Bruce M. Cherney passed away in his sleep, Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the age of 55.

Joyce R. Cohen, age 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 3, 2024. Born June 11, 1929 on the family farm in Glenmore to parents Clement and Sadie (nee Vanden Heuvel) Matzke, she graduated from De Pere High School in 1947.

Frank L. Wiltman Jr, age 85, went home peacefully after dealing with cancer for three plus years. He was born on May 9, 1939, in Kewaunee, WI, son of the late Frank Sr and Rose (Wacek) Wiltman.

Michael Dean Pike, 63, passed away peacefully in his home on August 26, 2026, at 11:15 p.m. with his wife, Lorna, and grandson, Jonathan, by his side.  Michael was husband to Lorna Eldridge-Pike for 19 wonderful years.

Arlene Kozlovsky, age 97, of Denmark, was reunited with her husband, Clarence, on July 11, 2024 with family by her side. The daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Gasche) Selner was born on June 23, 1927. She graduated from Denmark High School and on June 14, 1952, she married Clarence Kozlovsky in Stangelville, who preceded her in death on November 5, 2006. Arlene proudly worked beside her husband on the farm, while also raising three children.
