Allen C. Schmahl, 92, of Manitowoc, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023. The son of William and Anna (Diefenthaler) Schmahl, was born October 7, 1930, in Rhine, Wisconsin. He married Gloria Ehlers on June 4, 1955, in Kiel, WI. This union was blessed with two children, Larry and Dawn. Al and Gloria shared 46 years of marriage before her passing in 2002.

Robert W. (Bob) Heezen, Jr., age 67, of Denmark, died May 11, 2023, at a local hospital after a long illness. The son of Robert Sr. and Betty (Heimerl) Heezen was born October 18, 1955. After graduating Denmark High school and St. Norbert College he pursued his love of farming until his health forced him to retire.

He is survived by his son Brian, (fiancé Sandra) of Denmark and former wife Tina. He is further survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Michael J. Bielinski, age 63, of Allouez, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 with his family by his side. The son of the late Willard and Josephine (Leiterman) Bielinski was born October 16, 1959 in Green Bay. He graduated from Denmark High School and went on to work for Riesterer and Schnell as a parts manager. On May 1, 1982 he married Sue Leiterman and had two children, Emily and Chad.

Clement (Clem) S. Sipiorski, 91, of Denmark passed away 05/09/23 at home, surrounded by his family and trusted dog and companion Lucy.

Clem was born November 17, 1931 to Stanley and Catherine (Hilka) Sipiorski in Denmark, WI.

Colonel David J. Mahlik U.S.A. Retired, age 82, peacefully passed away on April 11, 2023, at his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 26, 1940, to parents, John and Frances Mahlik and was raised in Denmark, WI. David graduated from Denmark High School in 1958 and went on to graduate from St. Norbert’s College. He married his high school sweetheart, Denise Suemnick, in 1962, and they were married 62 years.

Eugene H. Parizek, 93, township of Morrison, Wisconsin died April 6, 2023 at Rennes Health and Rehab in Appleton, Wisconsin.

 Elaine A. Ramesh, age 85, longtime town of Gibson resident, died Friday morning, April 7, 2023 at her residence, with family at her side.

Bernie Kozlovsky, 61, of Denmark, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Bernie was born September 16, 1961, in Green Bay, the youngest of three children born to Clarence and Arlene Kozlovsky.

Carol Ann Kittell, 76, of Maribel passed away March 9th, after a courageous 8-year battle with metastatic breast cancer, with her loving husband Roger by her side.  Carol was born in Appleton on July 17, 1946, to Harold and Charlotte (Peterson) Coenen.  She graduated from Denmark High School in 1964, but was also an honorary graduate of Freedom High School as that is where she attended school through her Junior year.

Maxine A. Krause (McClanahan), age 92, of Denmark, passed away February 24, 2023, at her home. The daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Woods) McClanahan was born August 5, 1930, in Grinnell, Iowa. She graduated West High School and studied two years at the UW-Extension, Green Bay Center. On September 23, 1950, she married Donald Edward Krause at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death.

Barbara Jean Brantmeier, 69, of Denmark, passed away with her husband William by her side. She was born in Two Rivers on August 13, 1953 to Robert and Muriel (Johnson) Heimer. She graduated from Denmark High School where she met her future husband William Brantmeier. They married on October 21, 1972, and together they shared 50 years of marriage.

Gladys Boushka, age 96, formerly of Township of Glenmore, passed away February 12, 2023.  She was born on August 21, 1926  to the late Rudolph and Frances (Budweiser) Pelishek. 

Mary A. Boncher, age 81 of Maribel, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
