Gerald E Novak (Jerry) of Denmark Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay, Wisconsin after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.   Jerry was born on January 11, 1941 to Edward and Edna (Rezek) Novak in Manitowoc County.  He graduated from Mishicot High School.  He was united in marriage to Marcella Newman on September 16, 1961.

June Wavrunek, age 85, of Denmark, WI, went to her eternal home on Sept. 10, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. The daughter of the late Henry and Angeline Van den Plas was born with her identical twin and best friend, Jane, on July 28, 1938 in Humboldt, WI. She is a graduate of Luxemburg High School class of 1956. On Sept.13, 1958, she married Roger Wavrunek.

Jerome (Jerry) Vogel, 85, Denmark, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023 at Bellin Hospital. He was born June 1, 1938 in Manitowoc to Frank and Mary (Braun) Vogel. He grew up in Tisch Mills on a dairy farm and graduated from Mishicot High School. On July 8, 1961 he married Mary Ann Wessley in Stangelville. Together they raised 6 children. Jerry was a loving husband and father.

Dorothy Ann Wallerius, 87, of Green Bay, passed away on August 27, 2023, with her family by her side.

Diane M. (Nitka) Kitzerow, age 84, a former Manitowoc resident and currently a resident of Scandinavian Assisted Living in Denmark, passed away Friday afternoon, August 4, 2023.

Leo A. Zehren, age 88, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, August 18, 2023.  Leo was born October 1, 1934 at the family residence above the White Lily Cheese Factory in Shiocton, Wisconsin.  He was the sixth of seven children of Leo V.

Martin G. Kurth, 80, of Denmark, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 29, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born November 11, 1942, in Pine Grove, WI to Harry and Agnes (Kaster) Kurth, Martin was one of nine children. On October 10, 1987, Martin married the love of his life, Judy Hansen, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Pine Grove. 

Sid Kittelson, 76, of rural Maribel, passed away at his home on July 4th from natural causes while tending to the cattle he loved so dearly. He was born the eldest of three children to Odin and Ellen (Prestrud) on October 5, 1946, in Clayton, Wisconsin.

Grace C. Reedy, 88, Denmark, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20, 2023.  She was born in Luxemburg on November 22, 1934, to the late Frank J. and Anna (Edelbeck) Kozlik.  On September 7, 1955, Grace married Glenn R. Reedy at St. Joseph Church in Pilsen.  He preceded her in death on February 14, 1993. 

Alan T. Bouressa of Denmark, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the age of 60. Al was born in Kimberly, Wisconsin on January 17, 1963 to Joseph and Donelda (“Donna”) (Hopfensperger) Bouressa. 

Jeanne Ellen (Blaha) Piippo, a longtime resident of Green Bay, passed away on June 26, 2023, at Century Ridge Elder Care in Green Bay, Wisconsin at age 77. She was a resident there for the past 4 years. Jeanne was born in Antigo, Wisconsin on December 29, 1945, to the late Hilda (Schisel) Blaha.

Alexandra “Alex” or “Poppy” Ann Grasee passed away peacefully in the arms of her mother and father, while reading one last bedtime story, on June 23, 2023 at Children’s Wisconsin Hospital in Milwaukee from complications due to infection and prematurity. 

Marilyn T. Court, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born in the Town of Bellevue on February 14, 1934, to the late William and Frances (Zellner) Strebel.

Joseph “Joe” Norbert Duckett, 76, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023, after a brief illness.

Glenn E. Jaeger, 72, of Maribel passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 27, 2023. Born to Reuben and Eleanor (Klug) Jaeger, on January 23, 1951, in Manitowoc County, he was the second of four children. He was a 1969 graduate of Denmark High School. In 1970, Glenn enlisted in the Army where he spent two years in Panama before returning stateside to join the Army National Guard.
