EDITORIAL - Friday Fish

With Lent now firmly upon us, many of the Catholics among us are forgoing the consumption of any non-aquatic meats every Friday leading up to Easter. As a Catholic myself, this practice has always seemed rather odd to me. It does not seem to be much of a "sacrifice" for most, and I never could quite understand how fish did not qualify as "meat" and why we were not allowed to eat chicken but could eat eggs.
