Ryan Wilson has been a sports fan his entire life. He grew up in Racine playing several sports and attended UW-La Crosse where he played collegiate tennis. After graduation, he worked in the sports department for a couple of newspapers before taking over as the sports information director at Ripon College. He left the sports field to work in marketing, but stayed close to sports through watching his two sons play high school and then college baseball. After being involved with their playing careers either through coaching, organizing their Legion baseball program, or simply watching, there was a void. When he saw the opportunity to return to his sports reporting roots with The Denmark News, he jumped at the chance and is thrilled to be covering the Denmark sports scene.
