LUXEMBURG — There are plenty of firsts for kids when they journey through their high school years. Maybe they’re taking a foreign language for the first time, heading to a high school dance or getting behind the wheel of a car.

Then there’s the first that Vanny Umentum had on Thursday afternoon.
