Late crucial mistakes bring sterling Viking season to a close

By KELLY FENTON  for The Denmark NewsDENMARK – Three fourth-quarter turnovers and some critical penalties down the stretch proved too much to overcome and the Viking season came to an end in an 18-14 loss to Chilton in the first round of the Division 4 playoffs on Friday night in Chilton.The third of those turnovers came on the game’s final play when Jack Satori heaved a desperation pass from the Chilton 26 and was picked off in the end zone.
