Downtwon Denmark: Past & Present - Part X - 211 Green Bay Road

Our next stop on our trip through downtown Denmark of the past brings us to the large two-and-a-half story building that looms over Main Street from its perch straddling Green Bay and De Pere Roads. Today, the building hosts AOT Yoga in its lowest level and a number of apartments in the two floors above, but it has known a number of other uses through the decades.

Mishicot - America's Favorite Student Competition

Beginning in March, Matthew, a student in the Mishicot School District, began competing in America’s Favorite Student Competition. The winner of the competition is offered a spot in Reader’s Digest as well as a tour of the Planetary Society in Pasadena, California, with Bill Nye, the Science Guy. In addition, the winner also receives $20,000 to put towards further education purposes.

Students from Mishicot High School put their knowledge of government and current events to the test as they competed in the 2026 Wisconsin Civics Games on Wednesday April 8 for the statewide academic competition focused on civic education and engagement.

In their final game at Woodside Sports Complex at Wisconsin Dells, the Vikings scored 2 runs in the bottom of the second off an error and a balk, and those 2 runs would turn out to be all they needed in moving to 5-0 on the season.
