Last week, we reported on a new one-stop shop in the Village of Denmark that will now be serving a variety of health and wellness needs from one location. What some may not know is there is a similar facility just to our north that also covers a wide range of full-body and mind-healing services under one roof.

The winter season can be brutal on one’s health in numerous ways. From seasonal illnesses, to the physical toll of wintry weather, to the mental and emotional strain created by the lack of daylight and increased solitude, the cold weather months can wreak havoc on our wellbeing. Owen Schacht is putting together a historic wrestling season, establishing himself as one of the top competitors in the state. Schacht currently holds an impressive 35–1 record, with his only loss coming in the semifinals at Bay Port earlier this season. He later earned redemption by defeating that same opponent at the Northern Badger Wrestling Classic, proving his resilience and determination.

Students from Mishicot and Reedsville High Schools recently took part in a unique vocal workshop during their music trip to Walt Disney World, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to perform in the professional entertainment industry. The workshop focused on voice acting, performance skills, and career opportunities within companies like Disney.

In 2016, Mrs. Carrie Sand, a Mishicot High School Teacher in the English Department, created Mishicot’s Chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS). A few years later, around 2018 or 2019, she introduced Passion Projects. Passion Projects are a way for students to extend their passions towards the school and community. Mrs.

On the first page of this week's paper, you will find an article about a new organization of organizations that is taking shape in Denmark. While in its very early stages now, a collective like this could have wide-reaching implications for the greater community. For this week's editorial, I would like to offer my own thoughts on this new group and why I believe it is a great thing for Denmark.
