On Saturday, February 12, Mishicot High School proudly recognized five distinguished alumni for their accomplishments in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) fields. Those honored include Aimee Willems, Ross Mueller, Cora Duescher, Tony Swetlik, and Jacob Haag—each representing the impact and value of CTE pathways in different professional industries.

The Mishicot School District Board of Education held its regular meeting on Monday, February 9, 2026, in the high school library.

Community members are invited to gather Wednesday, March 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Fairway Inn & Suites for a Sextortion Awareness Community Event focused on educating families about online exploitation and prevention. The event is being organized by the Mishicot Police Department and the Yindra family, with support from the Wisconsin Department of Justice.

The Mishicot Boys’ Wrestling team delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday, February 14, at the Sectional Tournament held at Omro High School. Competing against some of the top wrestlers in the area, the Indians rose to the challenge and showcased their determination, skill, and resilience on the mat.

Over the past week, you have no doubt seen endless coverage and countless opinions about this year's Super Bowl halftime show. It seems, despite a mountain of much more pressing and important issues, Americans decided to have an extended meltdown over a televised spectacle and waste time arguing over something that has no effect on our daily lives.
