Mishicot School District Superintendent Cory Erlandson is focused on one main goal this year: ensuring every student achieves one year of academic growth. The district uses tools such as IXL, AimsWeb, and Progress Learning to track progress and provide targeted interventions when students need extra support.

On Tuesday, December 16, the Mishicot Elementary School had its annual holiday concerts directed by Mrs. Deb Mueller. The concerts were based on “Holidays at the Movies” and featured songs from well-known holiday movies.

On December 16, 2025, Mishicot High School senior Kensington Rosenow scored her 1,000th point against Sheboygan South. Rosenow went into the night needing to score 17 points. She scored her 1,000th point in the last three minutes of the game, shooting her three-point shot from the volleyball line. Rosenow ended the game scoring 21 points.

On Tuesday, April 7, 1992, voters in the School District of Denmark were asked to approve a plan for a new middle school.

Last year, I shared my picks for the best Christmas movies of all time. In a similar vein, this year, I would like to offer my selections for the top Christmas songs. For me, the music is one of the biggest and most important features of each holiday season, and I look forward to breaking out my favorites each year.
