Mishicot - 'Tis the season to give

Every holiday season, the Mishicot FBLA chapter organizes a ‘Giving Tree’ in hopes to help an organization in need. Last year, they donated to the Lakeshore Foster Families & Friends and the year before that, the Lakeshore Humane Society. Looking towards an organization to support mental health, the Mishicot FBLA Chapter reached out to the Family Services Crisis Center located in Green Bay.

Mishicot - Making a team

To kick off the 2025-2026 wrestling season, the Mishicot Girls’ Wrestling Team wrestled at Antigo on Friday, competing in a Round Robin Tournament. On Saturday, the boys took a trip to Little Chute, also competing in a tournament.

DENMARK – Coming off a season that saw it qualify for team sectionals, the Denmark wrestling team began its 2025-26 season on Thursday night hosting a quadrangular at home that included duals against both Southern Door and Kewaunee.

DENMARK – The last time the Denmark girls’ basketball team hosted North Eastern Conference rival Freedom back on Jan. 16 last season, the Vikings hit a last-second shot to take down the Irish.

New bank opens

Starting today, December 3, residents of the greater Denmark area will have a new destination for all of their banking needs. The brand new state-of-the-art Bank First branch building officially opens its doors today in the heart of downtown Denmark after just under a year of construction.

Christmas season kicks off in Denmark

On Saturday, hundreds braved the wintry weather to take part in the area’s newest holiday tradition. That night, the Village of Denmark Community and Business Relations Committee (DCBRC) teamed up with the Denmark FFA and Denmark Sting Cancer to present this year’s second annual Denmark Christmas Tree Lighting Event outside the depot building at the Devils River State Recreational Trailhead.
