DENMARK – Pitcher’s duels often are decided by one of two things – one big hit or a mistake.

The Denmark baseball team took advantage of both on Tuesday afternoon to beat Marinette 2-0 in a WIAA regional semifinal that advances the Vikings to today’s regional final at Little Chute beginning at 4:30 p.m.

SEYMOUR – The Denmark boys’ golf team saw its season come to a close on Tuesday after finishing fourth at the WIAA Division 2 sectional held at Crystal Springs G.C.

The Mishicot Golf Team has only ever been Regional Champs once. However, under the coaching of Mr. Robert Stroess—and his assistants, Matt Wallander and Leonard Kowalski—the golf team has once again gained that title.

On Sunday, thousands gathered in the Gold Gymnasium at Denmark High School (DHS) to commemorate, celebrate and send off the DHS Class of 2026. The Commencement Ceremony was attended by family, friends and school staff and featured speeches, music and tributes to the 136 now-former students who make up the graduating class.

On Friday, along with the last day of the school year, Denmark Elementary School (DES) students had even more to celebrate as one of their peers was recognized by AAA - The Auto Club Group as the top Safety Patroller in the State of Wisconsin.

Last Wednesday, students, teachers, family and friends joined together at Gatherings 43 to commemorate the close of another year of learning and growing at Viking Academy. That night, Denmark's alternative school hosted their annual End-of-Year Celebration and Graduation which served to recognize student efforts, reflect on the closing school year and send off this year's six graduating seniors.
