Walk of Graduates

On Thursday morning, the Denmark High School (DHS) Class of 2026 received a proper send off from their younger peers and former teachers. That morning, prior to commencement practice, the graduating seniors made the traditional procession through the parking lot past each of the three district schools.

8th Grade Promotion 2026

Last Thursday, Denmark Middle School (DMS) bid farewell to this year’s 8th grade class with a celebration of their advancements and achievements. This year’s 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony featured speeches, awards and recognitions commemorating each of the 122 students who make up the Denmark Class of 2030.

School’s out!

During Friday morning’s Denmark Elementary School (DES) end-of-year assembly, along with recognizing Wisconsin School Safety Patroller of the Year, Adalyn Geffers (see Page 1), students and staff took part in a number of fun activities to celebrate the start of another summer vacation.

Honoring the fallen

Last Monday, members of the Denmark American Legion Post 363 and Denmark VFW Post 6705 completed their annual tours of area cemeteries to honor veterans interred there and commemorate Memorial Day 2026.

Mishicot - Camp Invention legacy in Mishicot

Students in the Mishicot area will have the opportunity to explore science, technology, and creativity this summer through the nationally recognized Camp Invention program. The hands-on summer day camp will take place at O.H. Schultz School in Mishicot from July 6–10, 2026.

Mishicot - Mishicot seniors showcase innovation in Shark Tank simulation

Creativity, problem solving, and entrepreneurship were on full display at Mishicot High School as seniors presented original business concepts during the school’s annual Shark Tank simulation. The event gave students the opportunity to pitch innovative ideas to a panel of “Sharks” made up of school administration and members of the Mishicot School Board.

Mishicot - Mishicot girls’ track and field team is making history

For the first time in Mishicot School history, the girls’ track and field team took the Sectional Champions title on Friday, May 29, at the Hilbert Sectional Meet. The team is coached by Head Coach Kyle Novack and Assistant Coaches Mackenzie Greenwood, Marissa Gove, Daniel Butler, and Aaron Butler.

DENMARK HISTORY - Downtown speed limit increase denied by board in 1971

In the 1970s, the state was working on optimizing speed limits in the Denmark area. In 1971, Main Street was set at 25 mph and De Pere Road was set at 35 mph.

WIAA TRACK: Vikings rise as school track records fall

CHILTON – You could say that Denmark junior runner Lincoln Arneson has been chasing a teammate around the track all season, only that teammate graduated last year and is no longer on the Vikings’ track team.

MAY 28 SPORTS: Girls' soccer falls at Sheboygan Falls

SHEBOYGAN FALLS – The Denmark girls’ soccer team wanted to test itself before the WIAA postseason begins next week, and Sheboygan Falls fit the bill.

The Falcons (13-3-2 overall) defeated the Vikings 6-0 in the final tuneup for the tournament. Denmark finishes its regular season at 6-9.
