New auto shop in town

Recently, motorists in the Village of Denmark may have noticed new activity at the auto shop on the corner of County Highway R and Green Bay Road. The garage, formerly home to Heim Motors and most recently the site of Brown County Motors, now has a new proprietor offering a range of automotive repair services. Last week, we stopped by and spoke with Travis Fortemps of Fortemps Hauling & Repair to learn more.

DENMARK – A game that started poorly for the Denmark Legion baseball team would end in jubilation as a walk-off hit from Cal Derricks would seal a come-from-behind win over Mishicot on Thursday.

Cooperstown board vacancy

During last Tuesday’s Town of Cooperstown Board of Supervisors meeting, an upcoming vacancy was once again a major topic of discussion. Last month, Supervisor Nick Propson announced he would be moving out of the municipality and would, therefore, have to forfeit his board seat.

EDITORIAL - The road repair debate

If there is one thing everyone who has driven around the Village of Denmark can agree on, it is that our roads need work. Multiple times a week, I see online and hear in person people opining the dreadful state of one roadway or another, many times with very valid points.
