Charneski has been with the USANG for 13 years now and has traveled the country and world in their ranks. Denmark Derby informational meeting July 22

Last month, we reported on a new event coming to the streets of Denmark this fall that is sure to be a wild ride. The first-ever Denmark Derby soapbox race will charge down Jorgenson and Pine Streets on September 26 with a ton of fun to be had for all. In order to properly prepare for the festivities, an informational meeting has been set for next week.

Denmark native sworn in as officer

Last week, Denmark’s own Alex Mancheski was officially welcomed as an officer of the Stevens Point Police Department. In a ceremony attended by family, friends and fellow officers, Mancheski was sworn in by City Clerk Susan Pagel before his father–Aaron–pinned on his badge.
